Salvatore Gulino
Salvatore Gulino was educated at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (diploma and fifth-year professional certificate), Tufts University (BS in Art Education), the University of Hartford, and Syracuse University (MFA).
His paintings have been shown at The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Fairfield University, Connecticut College, The University of Bridgeport, The New Britain Museum of American Art, The Promenade Gallery in Hartford's Bushnell Theatre, The Berkshire Art Museum, The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, the East Hartford Art League, the Hartford Arts Festival, the Springfield Art League, at Torrington, CT"s Five Points Gallery, Artwell Gallery, Warner Theatre Atrium Gallery, Gallery On The Main, and The Northwest CT Arts Council "Open Your Eyes" Studio Tour.
In addition, his work has been on exhibit in New York City at the Thos. Moser Showrooms, The TNC Gallery, and The Parallax Art Fair.
Among his many awards are a Williams College Purchase Award, eight awards from the Silvermine Guild’s Art of the Northeast USA exhibitions, and the Best of Show Award in Artwell Gallery’s First Annual Juried Show (juried by Laurence Buckley, Director of the New Britain Museum of American Art.
Gulino has been reviewed by The New York Times and was featured inYankee Magazine, the French Magazine, Artistes,Connecticut Magazine, and Artis.
